In today`s post I will share with you the recipe for one of the detox juice that I am taking daily. I have mentioned in the couple of my previous posts (and on my snapchat smileandstyle) that I am doing spring detoxification of my body. In this post here I`ve showed you which supplements I am taking and in this one I will share with you a recipe for a juice. I will also give you the list of the fruits and vegetables that are good for body detoxification and you can mix on your own or you can try this one.

Celery is one of the veggies that you should include in any detox juice that you make. Celery is from the same family with parsley and fennel, which makes them perfect detox too. Beetroot helps in improving the liver function, which in turn helps in removing toxins from your body. Beetroot juice contains an antioxidant named glutathione that protects the liver from damage. It also stimulates the regeneration of liver cells and improves the synthesis of fats within the liver. So these 4 are must! And the rest you can add depending on your taste. You can add carrots, apples, oranges, lemons, spinach, ginger, mint leaves. Just try not to add too much sugar (apples, oranges) because we want to help liver with this juice not to make it harder 🙂 .

For this juice you will need

Severs 1 person

1 celery

Hand full of spinach

1 apple

Half lemon (with peal)

2 cm of ginger (peeled)

1 big carrot

Put everything in juicer and enjoy!


Note – I always try to use organic fruits and vegetables , but if you can`t find it, peel everything since all the pesticides are in the skin, but also all the vitamins and minerals are just under the skin. Keep that in mind.

I also like to use strainer to strain the juice. I want to get rid of the pulp because I want the juice to go straight into my blood in 15 minutes.
