At the beginning of my pregnancy I was craving salty things for breakfast, but last two months I prefer to eat sweet breakfast. With the higher temperatures frozen fruit is one of the main ingredient when in prepare smoothies. Now that berries are in season I use them the most. I haven`t been posting recipes lately on the blog, one of the reasons is pregnancy and food aversion that I had, but since that`s all behind now I will post more easy healthy recipes on the blog.
This upside down chocolate smoothie recipe is lately my go to breakfast. You need about 10 minutes to prepare it, it`s very nutritious and tasty.
For 2 persons you will need
2 ripe bananas
1 smaller avocado or half if it`s big
1 tbsp. of cacao
2 tbsp. of almond butter
2 cups of almond milk
Mix everything for about 30 seconds in high speed blender.
To serve you will need ¼ cup of frozen cherries per person and for topping you will need few almonds, few hazelnuts and cacao nibs.
